Barbara Joan Tipton passed away January 5, 2022, in Palm Springs, California. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she died peacefully. She was 84 years young. She was born in Los Angeles, California on October 3, 1937, to Lloyd and Violet Murdaugh. She and her family moved to Blythe in 1966.

Barbara was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend.

Barbara is survived by her Son, Danny Tipton, - Wife Cora, Grandchildren: Jake, Chrissy, Nicole, Samantha, Jessica, Tyler, Jimmy, Stephanie, Brandon, DJ and Dustin. Great-Grandchildren - Tayler, Christopher, Sam, Eli, Kathryn, Alexander, Alorah, Maverick, Madison, Raegynn, Kenny, Delilah, Savannah, Summer, Jaxon, Olivia, Dani, and Dustin.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, James Tipton, Daughter Cindy Tipton-Jolfe, Son Larry Tipton along with her Parents, Sisters Madeline Sherry, Mary Johnson and Brother Edwin Murdaugh.

Barbara was a wonderful Christian woman, beautiful, feisty, fun loving and always up for anything that came her way. She touched so many people's lives. We were all blessed for having her in our lives! She will be missed!

Graveside services will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Calimesa, CA on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
