We are deeply saddened and heavy-hearted about the passing of Antonio Nunez Jr.  Most of you may have known him as "Pote" & "Tony Tone".

Antonio Nunez Jr. entered into rest peacefully in his sleep on September 12, 2020 in Wells, Maine at the age of 34. Antonio was born on October 13, 1985 in Blythe, California, the son of Antonio (Tony) Nunez Sr. and Edwina Nunez.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Latausha Shanaye Nunez and his four beautiful children Demarion, Isaiah, Arielle, and Baby Toni. He is also survived by his grandparents Tony and Alice Ramirez; siblings Andy, Jesse, Stephanie, Vincent, Ana, and Angelo.

Antonio was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Eva Elias, Tios Joey and Marvin Elias, tia Delia Garcia, cousin Adam G. Ramirez and Michelle Palacio, and countless friends and family.

Antonio was a fighter since the day he was born. He faced numerous life threatening tribulations but with the Grace of God he fought for his place that he called home and family. Antonio always faced challenges in his life but he always had a smile on his face and love in his heart. The Lord has blessed us with so many memories within this little time and we are thankful for the journey we call life.

Antonio spent his early years growing up in Blythe, California and the Coachella Valley.  At 16, Antonio started working at his first job, Dominos Pizza in Blythe, CA. At this moment in his life is where he met his beautiful partner who later became his wife, and where he became part of the Scott family. Antonio was so full of love for the Scott family that he found his faith with The Lord and attended church services at St. Paul Baptist Church. Antonio was full of love and faith and in his late twenties he was baptized and excepted Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior in his heart and he never looked back.

Antonio was known by everyone for his jokes and great sense of humor, dancing, and especially his smile.  We will always remember him for his generous thoughts and loyalty. Antonio consistently put the needs of others before himself, and cared deeply for his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29th from 6-8:00pm at Frye Chapel.  Funeral service will be on Wednesday, Sept. 30th at 10:00 am also at Frye Chapel with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
