Angel Hernandez
Jr.
May 14, 1996 — Aug 6, 2022
Blythe
Angel Anthony Hernandez Jr (AJ) was born on May 14, 1996, in Blythe, CA to Eva Hernandez and Angel Hernandez. He was called home on August 6, 2022. AJ was the oldest of a family of six children. He was a loving father of three sons and a daughter.
AJ loved his family very much. He loved family gatherings, especially when there was food involved. Sometimes it didn't even matter whose family it was, he went and was always welcomed with open arms and eventually turned into family.
AJ was a hard worker and enjoyed going to the river, having cookouts, traveling, listening to music, and making jokes. There was no restaurant too far that he wouldn't travel to. He was known for saying let's go eat and when you asked where it was forever 'a place that Blythe didn't have'.
He was spontaneous. He favorite words were "Who cares. Let's go." A.J loved being a playa playa with his long hair, no shirt showing off his sexiness. He was always there to offer or lend a helping hand. He was outgoing and giving. A.J was confident in himself with his big smile and loving big heart. He also had a laugh that was all his own, a laugh that if you heard it, you knew A.J was in the room or nearby. A.J tried to be that authoritative uncle/cousin, but it never took. The kids would just look at him, smile and he'd in turn joke and laugh with them.
A.J will be missed tremendously for his smile, loving, and giving heart.
Angel is survived by his children, Daniel, Mina, Victor, and Angel III; his mother Eva Hernandez, father Angel Hernandez, brothers Fabian and Gabriel Hernandez, sisters Isyss and Iliana Hernandez. Along with grandparents, lots of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Victor Hernandez, grandfathers Augustine Salinas and Isidro Hernandez, and uncles Daniel and Juan Garcia Sr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21st from 5-8pm at Frye Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, August 22nd at 10am, also at Frye Chapel with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his brother.
