Amanda Nicole Ortiz, 27, of Blythe, California, passed away on December 7, 2018.

She was born in Blythe to Guadalupe Soto and Agustin Ortiz Sr. and was the eldest of six children.

She leaves behind a beautiful baby girl named Amanda Nicole Vasquez Ortiz and her fiancee Derek Vasquez. She also leaves behind her siblings Andrea, Augie, Lupita, Antonia, Aaron and her only nephew Michael; as well as countless family members and friends who adored her.

Amanda was a charismatic, loving, caring, go-lucky, high-spirited young woman. She had a laugh and smile that could light up any room or situation. She was the rock of her family and friends and she will be forever missed.

Services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Frye Chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the services, she will be laid down to rest at Palo Verde Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life afterwards at the V.F.W., 148 N. 1st Street in Blythe from 2-7:00 p.m.
