Amador
Rodriguez
Jan 1, 1932 — Apr 22, 2021
Ripley
On Thursday, April 22, 2021, Amador Martinez Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly from life at the age of 89. Amador was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, on January 1, 1932, to Eduardo Rodriguez and Ignacia Martinez.
In 1952, at the age of 20, Amador immigrated to the Palo Verde Valley. On July 8, 1964, Amador married the love of his life, Angela Orozco Rodriguez; together, they had three children. Amador worked in the Agriculture Industry for many years for multiple companies. His last employer of many years was Helena Chemical, until his retirement in 2011. Amador was a humble, caring, kind, spunky, respectful, and well-respected man who was full of love and joy. He lit up the room with his presence and big smile. Amador was a great faithful friend to many and also a man of great faith in God. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, gardening, dancing, going to the river and casinos, hosting BBQs, doing woodwork projects and yard work, and listening to Mexican so loud that all of Ripley could hear it. Although Amador will truly be missed by his family and friends, he leaves us all with great memories to hold onto.
Amador is preceded in death by his father Eduardo Rodriguez, his mother Ignacia Martinez, brother Fidel Rodriguez, sisters Concepcion Rodriguez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Crispina Rodriguez, and grandson Joseph Angel Padilla. Amador is survived by his wife of 57 years Angela Rodriguez, sons: Elias Rodriguez (Isabel) of Guanajuato, MX, Eddie Rodriguez (Vickie) of Blythe, CA, Amador Rodriguez Jr. (Gricelda) of Lake Elsinore, daughters: Ofelia Fajardo (Miguel) of Dalton, GA and Cristina Rodriguez of Poway, CA. Grandchildren: Amador Rodriguez III, Bianca Rodriguez, Brianna Rodriguez, Carina Fajardo, Eduardo Rodriguez, Elena Rodriguez, Elias Rodriguez, Giselle Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez, Jair Rodriguez, JuanMiguel Fajardo, Noemi Fajardo and Noelani R. Minjares. Great-Grandchildren: Abril Rodriguez, Alex Morquecho, Barbara Fernanda Rodriguez, Jonathan Fajardo, Miana Segoviano and Noah Morquecho.
