Alfred
Davila
Dec 5, 1955 — Jan 25, 2019
Alfredo Robles Davila, age 63, died peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 25, 2019 after two years of battling cancer.
He was born on December 5, 1955 in Blythe, California to Juan and Jesusa Robles Davila. Alfred was well known to this day as "Afo", his nickname since childhood. He had six siblings, Teresa, Johnny, Frank, Ramon, Lupe and Richard.
He also had many friends, many of whom he met while working 35 years for Jack's Valley Laundry and Madd Jacks Carwash. Alfred always spoke highly of Jack Schuringa and his family would like to thank Mr. Schuringa for always caring for our brother and uncle.
He leaves behind his two siblings, Lupe Davila Jimenez and Richard Davila, as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He will be dearly missed.
Alfred also did in-home care as a side job. His favorite pastime was spending time with nephews and nieces and he really enjoyed going to the casinos. Alfred was always happy and smiling and laughing; he loved a good sense of humor.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Jesusa; and his siblings, Teresa Davila, Johnny Davila, Frank Davila and Ramon Davila.
A Christian memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9th at the First Assembly of God Church at 140 S. Willow Ave. at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life reception immediately following at the Church's hall. A private interment will be held at a later date for Alfred at Palo Verde Cemetery.
