Abelardo Amillano, 72, passed away Tuesday, October 2nd at his home in Blythe.

He was born on January 7, 1946 in Mexicali, Baja California to Gilberto Amillano and Maria De los Angeles Garate.

Abelardo was married to the love of his life, Valentina, on March 19, 1968 in Winterhaven, California.  Together they had three daughters, Gina, Michelle and Abby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Valentina; both of his parents; his sister Maria Lara and his brother Gilberto Amillano.

Abelardo is survived by his daughters, Gina (German) Manriquez, Michelle (Emiliano Jr.) Becerril and Abelarda 'Abby' Amillano; his grandchildren, Christopher Manriquez, Joshua Manriquez, Michael Manriquez, Aaron Becerril, Alexis Becerril and Kaycey Palacios; his sisters, Amalia Sandoval and Rosina Amillano; and his brother, Manuel Garate.

All services will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Monday, October 8th, 2018.  Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. and funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery with a reception held afterwards at VFW Post 2987, 148 N. 1st St. in Blythe.
